Inside/Outside Sales Development

Administrative support and assistance with house accounts and new customers by selling and promoting Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, in-person at the sales counter, and / or over the phone.
An ideal candidate will progress from Inside sales to an Outside Territory Manager role.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Exhibits friendly and helpful attitude.
Establishes and maintains customer relationships by solving customer problems, utilizing product knowledge to satisfy client needs, and offering outstanding customer service.
Participates in product meetings, seminars, and training schools to enhance and maintain product knowledge.
Outbound calling within an existing client base in an effort to enhance our customer experience.
Communicate upcoming specials, services, and training events with customers.
Willing to speak in front of peers, clients and potential clients as an audience ranging from 2 - 20 people.
Gather necessary information for special projects, quotes, and bulk-purchase opportunities.
Uses a computer system to retrieve customer information, status of orders and inventory.
Must enter information accurately in an accurate and timely manner Counter sales support and back-up as needed.
Prompt follow-up required on all pending needs.
May pull customer orders from inventory as needed.
Assists customers in loading their orders Analyze and interpret data while determining necessary action and recommendations.
Efficiently communicates with Operations and Branch Management of any immediate issue, opportunity or concern.

Education and / or
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude or the ability to read and interpret technical documents effectively.
General Knowledge of HVAC a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
(PowerPoint a plus.
) Qualified applicants must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent verbal communication skills and strong phone skills.
Ability to analyze customer needs and to recommend a proper course of action.
Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks, job projects, and deadlines.
Must possess ability to keep abreast of product applications and technology trends.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral or written form.
Ability to use sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
Attendance:
Attendance is required Monday through Friday 8:
00AM to 5:
00PM or within normal business hours as established by the Operations and Branch Manager.
Employee may be required to work overtime, and occasional Saturdays.
Sundays are typically as an emergency basis ONLY.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit; walk and stand; use hands, handle, or feel; and required to speak, read, and hear English.
(Bilingual a plus.
) Frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud on occasion.
This position may on occasion be exposed to extreme weather conditions that may affect a warehouse environment.
This is a fast-paced environment.
