Summary:
To provide the repair of all fastening tooling in the Plant; assembly process to include but not limited to DC Electric, pulse, air and battery tools.
Candidates should possess the skills to implement improvements and preventative measures within our scope of operation.
Candidates with experience in power tool repair, maintenance and strong quality systems are preferred.
The best candidates are previous Quality Technicians, Calibration Technicians, and/or Hands-On Maintenance Technicians in complex process settings.
Essential Functions:
Maintenance or repair of torque related process equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Install, test, calibrate, and repair simple and complex mechanical tools in a timely manner.
Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance.
Document repair and maintenance activity of equipment in the Cross Company database applicationsBe knowledgeable of the methods, practices and procedures for repair and calibration being performed.
Document non-conformances and identify equipment reliability trendsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentConsistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic.
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as assignedMinimum Requirements /

technical degree (Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering Technology) or related field or military work or equivalent experience preferredStrong mechanical, electronic and / or technical background in industrial environment preferredIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsMust demonstrate strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills in a fast paced world class automotive environmentMust demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, honesty, integrity, and attention to detailCore Competencies:
